Yoga teacher training is offered several places. At the foothills of the Himalayas along the banks of the sacred river Ganges, lies the city of Rishikesh. The first city this holy river reaches on its well-mannered from the mountains, Rishikesh is home to lots of ashrams, and most main Indian ashram, including Vivekenanda, Sivananda, Osho, Bihar school of yoga, have an office there. It is a good spot to experience Indian yoga. Class instruction may leave a few gaps for students used to the precision of western classes, but with its slow and spiritual atmosphere, it's an pleasing spot to start discovering what India has to offer.


Day 01 : Delhi to Haridwar (220 kms drive / 6 hrs drive)
Morning meet our driver at Airport/Railway station/Hotel transfer to Haridwar. At Arrival in Haridwar, check in to your hotel. Relax at hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 02 : Haridwar Tour
Morning enjoy your beginers Yoga class. After breakfast meet your guide for haridwar city tour. Visit Bara Bazar, Mansa Devi Temple, Jain Temple, Shantikunj Ashram. Later in evening enjoy Ganga Aarti at famous Har Ki Pauri Ghat. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 03 : Haridwar to Rishikesh (30 kms drive / 1 hour)
Morning enjoy beginers yoga class. After breakfast, meet our assistant and check out from hotel and transfer to Rishikesh. Check in to the hotel. Later enjoy guided sightseeing tour. Visit Bharat Mandir, Sivananda Ashram, Lakshman Jhula, Ram Jhula and Geeta Bhawan. Enjoy Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Niketan. Overnight stay at Rishikesh.

Day 04 :  Rishikesh Yoga & Meditation
Early morning drive or walk to the yoga centre for yoga class followed by relaxation of body and mind. After relaxation learn about breath awareness exercise and stretching exercise. After yogic breakfast Evening in - house yoga and traditional meditation class with visiting instructor. Late evening visit the Triveni Ghat for Ganga Aarti, dedicated to Goddesses Ganga . Overnight stay in hotel.

Day 05 :  Rishikesh Sightseeing
Early morning drive or walk to the centre .Today we will do relaxation, asana. After nutritious breakfast, day free for own activities. Optional you can take rafting trip or can do temple tour for half a day. And class of suggestion therapy. Meals and overnight hotel.

Day 06 : Rishikesh
Early morning wake up for Pranayam and advance technique of Yoga. Evening followed by meditation and curative yoga. Meals and overnight stay. One can take optional trip to Devprayag, one of the five most important confluences of Garhwal Himalayas . Arrive and explore the area. Also visit 10th century old temple of Ragunath ji.

Day 07 :  Rishikesh
Early morning followed up by VIPASANA class. Evening curative Yoga and meditation class. Dinner and Overnight stay Camp or Resort.

Day 08 : Rishikesh - Delhi
Early morning practice advance posture of yoga. Day free for own activities. Evening meditation and question answer session. Evening the course terminates. One can stay back to Delhi or drive to onward destination.
